Description
ThermoWood® is Finnish grown, pine and spruce. Heat treated to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees.
During the heat treatment, chemical and structural changes occur within the timber which alter and improve some of its basic characteristics. The heat treatment process requires no chemical additives. The controlled application of heat and steam improves the performance of the timber.
The resulting product is a more durable and stable timber. The ideal cladding material for use in exposed areas such as external walls.
