Covid-19 Policy
- All of our sites are open as usual with COVID secure measures in place in order to keep our customers and staff as safe as possible, these measures include;
- Increased cleaning of all sites, especially in high touch areas.
- The number of people permitted inside the premises will be restricted (this will vary for each branch depending on their size), to ensure 2m social distancing guidelines can be adhered to.
- The only exemption to the 2m social distancing rule should be if there is an emergency such as a fire and the risk to safety is imminent.
- Gates may be closed at busy periods in order to control the number of vehicles/people on site.
- Hand sanitizer is available across all sites and the regular use of hand sanitizer is encouraged.
- To reduce the need to exchange cash, contactless payment methods are preferred and encouraged.
- Screens have been installed at the counters in each branch.
- Customers wanting to look at products outside will be accompanied by a member of staff who will serve them to pick their timber, 2m distancing rule must apply.
- Where customers require assistance with loading heavy objects or other support – staff will work in fixed teams to avoid close contact between staff and customer.
- Customers are advised to wear a face covering when entering the premises unless they are exempt from doing so.
- If you are exempt from wearing a mask please inform one of our staff members and we will do our best to reduce the risk to you, other customers, and staff.
- If you would prefer to limit your contact with others, let us know and contactless collection or delivery can be arranged for all of our sites.
